Royal Wolf, Australasia’s leading shipping container provider and active wear label Rockwear have joined forces to make a grand entrance at Westfield Garden City in Queensland.
Showcasing the versatility of its product innovations, Royal Wolf worked with Leda Shop Fitting to incorporate a 2.3m cube-shaped container into the dynamic storefront design of Rockwear's new retail outlet. National Manufacturing Manager of Royal Wolf, Brendon Greatrex, said the modified shipping container entrance combines design and practicality to create an incrediblefirst impression for shoppers. Royal Wolf containers can be used and customised for a range of design, building and retail purposes – from a custom fit-out feature in a store to a standalone pop-up shop, art gallery, mobile bar or cafe. Our containers are strong, easily modified and can be transported direct to site, making them ideal for a huge range of exciting applications,” Mr Greatrex said.
For the Rockwear project, Royal Wolf transformed a cubed container by removing the floor and front wall, and rehanging the doors to meet the client’s security and accessibility needs. Any retail entry point needs to make a statement, promote accessibility and be easily secured at night. The modifications team created doors that swing inwards to ensure our container solution was both functional and worked with the overall industrial look of the shop,” said Greatrex. To create a stylish walk through, the container's interior was painted hot pink, perfectly complimenting the colourful internal store design.
