Due to improvements in mining technologies, ore beds that were once considered not economically viable to extract are now valuable resources that will be part of the mining industry.
The Challenge: Ore beds had traditionally essential facilities built on top of them
The Solution: Royal Wolf were asked to tailor-design and deliver new transportable facilities
The new site facilities require a total of 49 x 40’ containers and include the following buildings:
- 1 x Integrated Mine Control Centre – A 6 x 40’ container office consisting of 2 levels. Top level having 6 separate offices & a ground level including 1 x large office, meeting room and open areas for the mine control staff.
- 4 x male change houses – Each building comprising of 9 x 40’ containers and features 4 x toilet pans, 2 x wash troughs, 2 x urinals, 20 x showers, space for 250 lockers, fully insulated, lined, skylights and air conditioning.
